What is the best affordable beer for a college student?

I am a college student living in Athens, Ga. I want to know what the best affordable beer is for me to drink. I dont really like any of the wheat beer, but i like the widestream beer such as coors light, bud light lime, rolling rock, and keystone (when im broke)

Any suggestions would be great, Thanks!|||Bud, Miller, and Coors are the best affordable beers. They are very good but very light flavored beers. There are even less expensive beers such as Natural Light and Keystone that you can consider too. Given one choice go with the Bud. Being a college student I think it may be the wallet doing your decision making.|||KEYSTONE LIGHT baby! It was a while back for me when I first started drinking beer but little known fact, if you like coors light, keystone light is actually made by the same people...next time look at the can.

I was also told that keystone is the bottom of the coors light barrel, so essentially the same thing for half the price!|||The easiest way to figure it out is to go to the beer aisle and look...

cheap beer is gonna be somewhat close in flavor.

busch is just the cheaper version of bud

keystone is the cheaper version of coors

PBR has a blue ribbon, and you can't go wrong there

MGD can be ice cold, but it still tastes like warm piss

if you really wanna get classy, how about a 40 of O.E. or 211|||If you want something on a budget with a little flavor and that wont give you a wicked headache in the morning(PBR, Naty), buy Milwaukees Best Light. It is a Miller product (tastes similar to miller light). I must have drank a few hundred thousand of those and I still love them. I bought a 30-pack called "The Best Chest" for $11.79 w/out tax not to long ago. Beat that!!|||home brews

you can make very good beer once you have all the equipment (about $100 worth) for about $15 for 5 gallons... that makes an equivalent of about 50 12 oz cans/bottles, and it tastes MUCH better than the watered-down cheap beers you mentioned.|||Dude, no question...Lone Star is the only way to go. For the price and taste, you can't beat it. Although I also used to drik Busch since it was made by Anhauser. Howver, Anhauser is no longer American-made so they can take that can of Bud and shove it up their A5S!|||Easy, but more expensive

Go find a local brew pub and ask them for a growler. See what their prices are.

Somewhat easy, you need a kegerator

Get some friends, get a kegerator, get a keg from the store.

My personal preference

Get some basic equipment, brew your own|||Miller High Life (the champagne of beers) I have found is both cheap and drinkable. If you want to get drunk quicker and don't really care what it tastes like go a ahead and try Steel Reserve.|||Seeing the list you provide, who cares. It's all the same crap anyway.

Hopefully you are over 21 so you can legally drink.|||ginger Ale or root Beer, my apologies if you're over 21 but if you're not it's illegal !!|||Either a generic label or Natural Light or Keystone.|||draft beer|||Keystone and Busch Light is nasty. Bud light isn't that much more and is wayyy better|||Natural Light or Bud Ice|||PBR|||Pabst Blue Ribbon all the way
