What is the average price for a beer in a pub in America and what size is the beer?

At pubs in Melbourne the beer is roughly $US2.70 for a 275ml glass.|||Man, those people answering this question above have no idea what a real beer is. $2 US dollars for piss water in a small town, but if you are headed to a major city (New York, Chicago, LA) and want a decent beer, its around $5-$7 a pint.|||IN THE PUB BEER COST $1.00 FOR A MUG ON TAP IN HAPPY HOUR. Yes we call them bars not pubs...not trying to sound mean but if i ever go to melbourne i will call them pubs.|||A pint at a restaurant will cost about $2. Bottle about $2.50 unless imported about $3.50. Prices per bottle at a cluib is about $3 and at a strip club is like $7.|||I m not sure what it is since i don't live in america and even if I did I wouldn't go to pubs and drink beer, man.
