How long can draft beer lines run between the walk-in cooler and the tap?

Hey I want to put more beers on tap at my restaurant. Due to lack of space I want to use the walk-in cooler in the back to chill the kegs and then run the lines out to the bar. Can this be done? Do you know of a company in central florida that can install it? How would the beer stay cool while running 30ft threw the walls?|||I run a pub in england so i dont know of any companys where you are but this may help.

Lots of pubs use remote coolers which chill your beer in the line (basically runs it through an ice bank) which means you don't actually have to keep the kegs in the walk in. Brewey's supply and install this for free in this country but i don't know about u.s.

Also when you clean your line (about once a week) you waste whatever beer is in the line. so the longer the line the more beer you waste.

i hope this was helpful...|||Just an FYI

("threw" = through in proper English spelling and grammar)

You do not have a beer distributor to help you?

Restaurant beverage consultant?

You can run a beer tap line 30'. The site below is for reference. Contact a company such as them for information.

Things to do:

Insulate the line if the temperature in the walls is high.

Make sure no low areas exist in the tap line. Beer will rest and spoil in these areas even after you clean them. Due to the low-saging area the old beer is not picked up and the line remains dirty. The beer in the line spoils. You tap a fresh keg and the beer flows through the spoiled beer in the line and you have a bad glass of brew. Think about a buttery-butterscotch aroma and flavor. Regulate the CO2 pressure to push the beer the distance required.

Good luck.
