Also what size would you get for that compared to the average 'pint' you get here in England?|||The standard beer in NSW is the schooner - three quarters of a pint - although some people drink middies (half a pint). Most pubs will also sell you a pint if you ask. There is also a 7oz glass but who wants to drink out of thimbles?
A schooner of Tooheys, Reschs or VB will cost about $3.50 - $3.80. You might find it a little cheaper in some pubs and clubs and more expensive in others. Usually, the more expensive the pub looks, the more expensive the beer is.
