How come whenever I drink beer I get a tightness in my throat?

It's only beer that does it, makes it feel like something is stuck. But my throat gets really tight after drinking beer, and it can be as little as a few sips of one and it'll start. No other alcohol does it. Any ideas?|||You're probably allergic to the hops and grains used in the beer. You could try beers that are made using grains different from the beer you've been drinking now.
