Do beer and soda cans sound different when opened?

I think the "psshht" sound of beer and soda cans sound different from each other. Do you think so too?|||Yes, they do. The beer can when opened should sound a little flatter than the soda can. The carbonation of the soda would place more inner pressure on the can, causing it to release more rapidly when opened.|||yea

PLEASE HELP IT HURTS SO BADLY!|||soda seems to be a higher pitch and the sound doesnt last as long.|||no not that i have noticed

x|||I think so, cuz I think beer is a bit thicker. maybe...

-i|||hmmmm...i think so, cus soda is more....fizzy:p|||i dont think so|||There is no better sound than the opening of a beer can on a hot summer day!|||yeah! soda sounds like soda, but BEER....BEER sounds like BEER!!!!!|||yes the sound is different|||I good question.

I think they are carbonated at different levels and thus have different pressures. This would most certainly result in a different sound. Conduct some trials and post a humorous web report.|||if i had to guess i would say no but there could be a very small difference but not enough for me to ever notice it.
