What is stunted beer in the fermantation process?

I love drinking malta goya %26amp; I read online that is stunted beer in the fermentation process.

What the heck does that mean? I looked it up online but I didn't find anything.

Also is malta a bad thing to drink?|||Beer prior to fermentation is called "wort." It is the liquid that is made during the process of mashing grains -- basically it is a sugary slurry of malt sugar (dextrose) and water. Wort becomes beer after the yeast is pitched and the yeast turns the dextrose into alchohol and carbon dioxide. Non-alcoholic malt-drinks are basically dextrose and water -- they are no better or worse for you than a can of soda.
