What are the legalities involving a Beer delivery service?

I'm going to start a 24 hour beer delivery service, so people won't have to drive to the store for more beer.

Do you think this will work?|||Hi, i think its a great idea, weve just got back from a day out and everywere is shut, just done a search in google and found one that does it, (see below) Good luck 2 ya x|||It is legal to offer a beer delivery service as long as you get an alcohol licence first from the local authority/council where your business will be based. In England %26amp; Wales you can apply for a 24 hour alcohol licence but in Scotland you can't.

|||Wow, great idea, but I bet its not legal. Talk to a lawyer or the state alcohol commision|||yeah, if you're sober enough to get behind the wheel....wouldn't want to have to clean splattered yak off the road!!! :)|||you would have insurance issues..|||It's a great idea, but you have to be very careful... hire a lawyer.

Do research, and not on yahoo answers... granted, these answers help, but always do your own research...Just ONE complaint for selling to underage kids can get you shut down.
