What beer would a person who normally drinks vodka/cranberry like?

I normally drink vodka and cranberry. However, not only does it get expensive in a hurry, but it is a bit high maintenance! I've tried beers like Blue Moon and Heineken, but really can't get into it. Is there a beer that would make the transition from vodka/cranberry easier?|||well liquor and beer are quite different...

modello's yummy though|||If you like the taste of drinks like cranberry and vodka and not the traditional beer taste it's gonna be tough to find a beer you like until you develope a taste for it. Start with a wheat beer like Blue Moon and dont forget the orange. Blue Moon has more of a fruity flavor then regular beer. If that doesnt work, try going to the malts like Mikes Hard Lemonade, they make many different flavors and they taste nothing like beer.|||It's sort of like saying, "What car would a person who normally flies in a 747 jet like?"

It's trying to compare apples and oranges so I may be way off the mark but try a raspberry lambic. Lindemans makes one that I have had and it's pretty good. It's not really like beer because I think there is no hops (or very little). It's almost more like a wine, but it's not made with grapes so it's not really wine.

Sam Adams makes a cherry wheat. I'm sure others to as well. There are probably some beers with cranberry in them as well. Keep trying different beers. Leinenkuegels makes a berry weiss that is very fruity.|||The fact that you like vodka/cran makes me think that you don't like bitter things all that much, like lots of flavor, and wouldn't like something heavy. I fall in that category, too, and my favorite beer is Brooklyn Brewing Company's "Pennant Ale '55". Light, not bitter, lots of good flavor, and very easy to drink.|||Try a fruit Lambic. The Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic is a very poor example of the style. Try a lambic from Lindeman's.

If you don't care for Blue Moon, perhaps try a better example of the style (Belgian Witbier). Try Allagash White, Unibroue Blanch de Chambly, Ommegang Witte or Southampton Double White. These beers are so good on their own they won't even need any fruit.|||My only thought is a lambic of some sort.

Beer is an acquired taste, and while Blue Moon is not bad, it's still a Coors product so you shouldn't expect it to be great. Heineken is completly overrated. According to ratebeer.com, 90% of all beers are better than Heineken (I'll let you have one guess where Bud and Coors is...).|||Samuel Adams Cranberry Lambic|||Most likely a fruit lambic such as Lindemans or a fruit flavored wheat beer like Pyramid's apricot hefewiezen|||Bud light or Cors light I drink a couple of beers b 4 I drink vodka n cranverry|||Try Blue Moon. Very mild and gets you buzzed QUICK|||Miller Chill.|||try drinking cida cheep and gets y wreked
