What brand of beer did the characters in the prison movie The Green Mile drink?

I know The Green Mile took place around the time of the Great depression like 1929 to 1934, somewhere in that time frame. I know this doesn't have anything to do with the movie, just like random facts, and was wondering if anybody has an idea as to what type of beer was drunk during that movie. There is one scene where Tom Hanks is at the Wardens house and they are drinking some type of beer, don't know what kind it is? At one other part in the movie, the mile guards drink this beer too.
