What is the difference in Lager Beer and Pilsner Beer?

What is the difference between Lager beer and Pilsner beer? Also what is the difference between ale and beer??|||The differences begin during the brewing process. Whether the beer is an ale or lager is defined by the type of yeast used in the brew and the temperature at which fermentation takes place. Ales are brewed with top-fermenting yeast which allows for rapid fermentation at warmer temperatures. Lagers are brewed with bottom-fermenting yeast which ferments more slowly and at colder temperatures. it is all just dependent on how it is brewed, each brewing process produces a different, unique beer. All are good!|||A Pilsner is a lager. Ales are beer, just not a lager. Ales and Lagers are brewed differently.
