What is the best way to start a beer bottle collection?

I am looking to start a beer bottle collection, I was just wondering on the best way to go about starting. It doesn't need to be a valuable collection (although that wouldn't hurt), just something as a hobby. Should I just start with the different beers that I drink, find some online, or actually do research?|||Buy a bottle, drink it, buy another brand, drink it, and so on............so forth..............|||For openers you could find a liquor, wine, and beer superstore, and if you drink, buy all the individual bottles you can of every brand the store sells. For right now beer being bottled in its current container won't have much value as far as the bottle goes. But since nearly every company changes the appearance of their packaging every so many years, the bottle will start to have some value. Another thing is that a LOT of microbreweries fizzled out over the last several years and have gone out of business. More microbreweries are certain to follow. I would definitley collect those bottles. You might also collect information about the histiory of these companies as well.

Flea markets, antique malls, and antique shows will very often have such memorabilia and are good sources for serious collectors. Be prepared to pay several dollars for beer bottles from a bygone era.
