We have around 250 people and are buying vodka, rum, gin and whiskey. Also we plan on buying kegs of beer. How many of each bottle of liquor and how many kegs should we get for 250 people?|||Well the general rule is to count on 3-4 drinks per person. I would talk to your bartender and ask their advice on how much of each specific type to buy.|||I had a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine per 6 person table, plus a few extra's. And a ''greeting'' cocktail for hors-d'oeuvres on the patio time. We had a round of shots for later on in the evening, the rest was paying bar/bring your own. It was outdoors in a large tent, so many people brought coolers and kept them in their car.
You are lucky, my budget didn't let me do open bar ! If I had, I wouldn't have been able to pay for food! LOL In the end it was nice though, we had a great evening and my aim wasn't to get everyone wasted... Although a few did !|||wow, that alot of booze. i had a pay bar at my wedding. it stopped the drunks from getting pissed and ruining the wedding and saved alot in cost for us to spend on our honeymoon. just my 2 cents. the day is about you.... not about feeding and getting your guests drunk
